During the footprint experiment we put our foot print in a bin with dirt or sand. Then, with our group we analyzed certain characteristics of the print such as size, details, and patterns of the shoe. We also recorded the weather and temperature. By using these unique characteristics, we are able to identify the floor of the criminal and even the weight of the person. For example, depending on the wieght of the person the indentation will either be left deep it will be light on the ground.
Nice post. However, you should have put your own shoe measurements so that the reader could have further example of what to do.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Oliver, a picture of the chart that a forensic scientist would use when a footprint is evident at a scene would be nice, but you have valid information and a picture of your print. So it is still a good post!
