Drug Analysis

Many murder cases involve psychological or drug issues. Drug cases usually require the use forensics to identify the drug that was involved during the murder. In our experiment we identified the PH, and if the cocaine reagent, and LSD reagent tested positive. We were giving 6 different substances, and we had to identify the substance. PH is identified by using the test tube in which the step tube, once it touches a chemical, turns a certain color. The color is able to tell the tester what the exact PH of the substance.  We were required to test the substances for a cocaine reagent. This reagent is supposed to turn a blue color if positive.  Also another substance that we were required to test for was LSD reagent. This reagent is supposed to turn a yellowish color if it is positive.

Cocaine Positive
The following chart shows the results of the 6 substances.

  1. Nice brief explanation of the lab. The table was also very well constructed

  2. I liked the chart. Not only does it enhance the overall post, but also the color contrast between the black and green give it a nice touch.

  3. Maybe I read it wrong, but "PH is identified by using the test tube in which the step tube, once it touches a chemical, turns a certain color." doesn't make sense to me. Other than that I enjoyed reading the post because it was appealing!
